We’re doing things a bit different…

We are thrilled to announce our wedding celebration and invite you to join us on an unforgettable adventure as we embark on a journey to Portugal!

Instead of a traditional wedding reception, we have decided to make our special day even more memorable by sharing it with our loved ones in the breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture of Portugal.

We're opting for a non-traditional wedding, replacing the reception with a trip for our loved ones. To ensure quality time with each of you, we've divided the trip into 3 weeks. The first week with family, the second week with friends, and the last week as a honeymoon.

There will be no wedding ceremony, just the vacation with our loved ones.

When and where?

We will be in Lisbon from September 8-14. We'd love for you to join us for some or all of this journey!

We will share our itinerary closer to the date, including several excursions which you are welcome to join based on your interests.

What will it cost?

We estimate that the flight costs will be around $500 one way or $1,100 round trip. There are many options for accommodations, ranging from Airbnb's to hotels. We plan to seek out villas with multiple bedrooms to share with families interested in sharing the cost. We will provide more information on accommodations as we approach September 2024. The estimated budget is $2,500 per person for essentials, but more if you plan on additional activities or more expensive accommodations.

We realize that this is not inexpensive. We kindly request that if you can join us on this trip, please consider it your gift to us rather than providing a wedding gift. We'd love for you to spend your money on planning a great vacation instead!

We're thrilled about the prospect of seeing each and every one of you. However, we also want to emphasize that this trip is about you. One of the great things about our plan is that if there's someone special you'd like to share this experience with, you're more than welcome to invite them along! Whether it's your best friend, parents, siblings, or anyone else who would make your trip even more memorable, please feel free to extend the invitation to them!
